Year of the Fire Horse
The year of the fire horse has come our way after 60 years! Did you know that it symbolises a time for breaking away from old systems to make way for something new? ✨

Ceramic details
Each yunomi cup (Japanese for an everyday cup) is hand thrown and trimmed from Jingdezhen porcelain.

Motives of the fire horse were hand painted onto each cup, each with their own reflections of the new year:
- dawning sun: new beginnings
- quiet line: run the race
- stars in the sky: finishing well

Finally all pieces were finished with a matte overglaze and fired at high temperature (cone 10), allowing them to be strong and durable.
